Code of Ethics
All Breeder members of the WP - Biewer Breed Club shall strive to breed to the Biewer Standard set forth by KUSA (Kennel Union of South Africa) and breed and to reduce faults to a minimum.
Members shall not knowingly misrepresent the characteristics of the breed, nor falsely advertise or mislead any person regarding the potential, performance, quality or health of any dog.
Full disclosure of any and all genetic abnormalities in any lines.
A member shall not by word or deed seek to impair member's reputation. Any serious situation that is inconsistent with these principals shall however be reported to the Board of Directors.
A member shall keep accurate and up to date records of litters.
Where there is substantive evidence members will ensure that they bring to the attention of the appropriate authority cases of alleged malpractice, mistreatment, fraud, dishonesty, cruelty or neglect and not commit such offences themselves. The committee, after investigation of the complaint, may consider such matters accordingly.
